Went on Bank Holiday Monday for evening meal. Four different meals ordered, they all arrived together piping hot. Amazed at the amount of food they can fit on a plate. This was our first visit but it will not be our last. All the Staff went out of their way to be really helpful without being OTT.

Came for dinner after reading your reviews and wasn't disappointed, staff were great and the food was lovely. I had the roast and my other half had a burger both of which were delicious. For dessert we both had ice cream Sundays, the menu is varied and caters for most tastes and is well priced. Would definitely recommend a visit and will be back soon myself.

This place cooks delicious homemade food. I always have the spiced Cajun chicken baguette, so nice. It comes with fresh salad, home made garlic mayo & coleslaw and is served with crisps at a very reasonable price. Their home made thick cut chips are really nice to. Love this place.

Need to revisit myself. I had the Steak and Ale pie, was very tasty and full of chunky meat... A friend had the cheese and onion pie, looked gorgeous and apparently tasted real good... next meal for me!! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, and the prices weren't over the top either.

Have eaten in the Lowes many times and have never had a bad meal. Fridays are the chef's gourmet night where they offer 'special' specials in addition to their regular extensive menu, well worth a visit. Other week nights offer curry night, ladies night and a decent selection on the specials board. Notable dishes include a huge portion of fish and chips, great steak options and lots of healthier tasty choices such as poached cod and grilled swordfish. Best pub food in the area, great staff - very friendly and helpful.
